The company avast! has been a leader in antivirus software protection
for many years. And they have learned that one program is not
best suited for everyone. That is why they offer two different
protection programs.
The first is the Avast! Pro Antivirus and the second is their
Internet Security. Both are great programs and offer great protection
against computer viruses, worms, Trojans and even some spyware,
depending on what program you buy.
Protection For Your Computer
But the key is to review your options and know what you need
before you make that purchase. Too little protection leaves you
wide open but if you don’t need the top of the line, then
you’re wasting money.
If money is the issue that is stopping you from picking the avast!
Pro Antivirus or the avast! Internet Security, then you should
know that there is only a thirty dollar difference.

The Pro Antivirus will cost you $69.95 whereas the Internet Security
is $99.95 if you buy from the company website. If you do a search
for the antivirus program you will come across some free versions
but those really will not give you the protection you need.
So what does the Internet Security package feature that the Pro
Antivirus does not? Both offer protection until April of 2013.
Both have antivirus properties built in and both have anti-spyware.
A Firewall And A Spam Email Filter
The differences become apparent in that the Internet Security
offers hacker protection, which could simply mean a firewall,
as well as a spam email filter. Those are the main differences.
To be quite honest, most people are well protected with the Pro
Antivirus. Most people have firewalls provided to them through

because they already have some programs installed that will do
that for them. Chances are your email and your internet browser
already protects you, so go with the lesser priced Pro Antivirus.
