Computer Hardware Software Driving Your Machine

Desktop computers and notebooks need two vital pieces in order
to be more than just an expensive paperweight. They need computer
hardware software to be able to operate. There is nothing without
the other in this case. They are vital to running your machine
and need to work in harmony together.
They go together even though both perform different functions
and are designed so that one does not work without the other.
If you do have one that is broken, then you have an entire machine
that is pretty much standing still.
Computer Software
Computer software is different than hardware in that these are
the programs, procedures and documentation that cause the computer
to be operated by the user. The software is classified into three
different categories. The first is system software.
The system software helps the computer run. The second class
is the programming software which allows the programmer to write
new programs. The final category is the application software.
The application software is any non computer related tasks.
Computer Hardware
Desktop computers and notebooks consist of tangible products
that cause the computer to run. These include any memory modules
such as RAM (Random Access Memory), mouse, keyboards, and all
circuitry components within the machine such as mother boards,
sound cards and video cards.

Even your power source is a vital asset that makes the machine
run. The term "software" can be attributed to John W.
Turkey in 1958, though there were earlier essays and theories
dating back to the 1930s.
Software Tells The Hardware How To Perform
Your computer is physically made up of different circuit boards,
electronic wires, fans, heat sinks and other miscellaneous hardware
that allow the machine to run. It needs the software which tells
it how to perform and what steps it must take in order to run
correctly.
Think of it as a body and a brain. The brain is the software
and the body is the hardware. Your computer hardware software
works together to allow you to use the computer in the manner
it was designed.
Software Works With Hardware To Run Your Computer
Computer hardware software works together and you must know that
your computer memory software is loaded directly onto the RAM
chips. How much information is stored and how fast the computer
can access the information is determined by the software working
in tandem to store the information onto the hardware.
Most users never have to worry about the software outside of
installing certain programs onto their computer. The same goes
for the hardware. Outside of the keyboards and mouse, you really
will only need to worry about system requirements and storage.

Computer memory is how your computer retrieves
information. It starts with temporary storage and then moves from
there. The more memory in temporary storage, the faster your computer
will run.
Think of it as this analogy: you save a
phone number on a piece of paper near your phone. It is faster
to look there then to have to go find the number again in a phone
book. Computer memory works in the same fashion.
Computer memory is the most vital component that makes your computer
run. Did you not know that? Do not feel bad because most computer
users know just enough about their personal and work computers
