Computer Troubleshooting To Find Solutions

By Rainbow Spear

Computer troubleshooting tools are available everywhere.

You may want to know why the computer has slowed down. Check with your anti-virus and anti-spyware tools to find out if the computer is slow due to viruses, spyware or other nasties on your computer.

Anti-viral tools are an example of troubleshooting tools to use on your computer, to find out why your computer is not working as it should. You can also use diagnostic tools available with your operating system, to find out if the problem is a software or hardware issue.

Look For Solutions Online

If you still do not have a solution go to Google and enter your problem and there should be a solution with step by step computer troubleshooting.

I have found visiting the website of the software or the hardware manufacturer invaluable. For example, if you have a problem with a DVD player, there may be solution with a firmware fix available at the manufacturer site. All you have to do is download the firmware fix to your computer and voila! The DVD player is working again.

Just remember, for every problem you are facing, someone else on the internet has faced the same problem, so there is more than likely, a solution to a problem you may have with your computer.

Computer Troubleshooting

Computer troubleshooting is a pretty difficult and complicated problem. When something major goes wrong with your computer, it is easy to find computer help. Usually, there is one thing that you need to do.

Either you need to replace a piece of hardware which has gone bad, reinstall Windows, remove a virus, or delete a piece of adware. Sometimes, however, computers face minor malfunctions that are very difficult to diagnose.

How, for example, do you troubleshoot your computer when it has the peculiar habit of booting incorrectly about every third time you turn on the power? What about computer troubleshooting when you can't play a video game despite the fact that you have all of the right hardware installed?

No Fast And Easy Answers

Unfortunately, in these computer troubleshooting situations, sometimes there are no fast and easy answers. Of course, you can get a program like PC doctor to troubleshoot your computer, but this is not guaranteed. Sometimes, computer troubleshooting can be an inexact science.

Many of the most common computer problems could have multiple causes. For example, one time I could not get my computer to load correctly. I thought something was seriously wrong with the hardware, but it turned out to just be a simple computer mouse problem.

The computer help desk ran me through all kinds of diagnostic tests, but they all came back negative. Only when I went out and bought myself a new computer mouse was I able to fix the problem.

Use Your Local Computer Technician

Sometimes, intuition is as useful it in trying to troubleshoot computers as computer knowledge. I have a friend who is an expert in computer troubleshooting, but no matter how much I ask, he can't tell me how.

It seems that, every time something goes wrong, he can fix it. Sometimes all he has to do is to power cycle the computer by flicking the power on and off quickly and repeatedly.

Other times, it is a much more complicated issue. Whatever the problem, however, his computer troubleshooting is dependable. Whether it takes 10 minutes or an hour, he gets the job done.

Finding A Computer Troubleshooting Expert

Finding a computer troubleshooting expert like this is very valuable and rare. You can look at all the computer information technology professionals you want, but give me one who is good at troubleshooting computers and I will elevate him above all of the others.

If you know someone who can troubleshoot computer problems, you had better keep him as a friend.

Online Computer Troubleshooting

A lot of computer solutions are available online. Just type into Google the problem, there is usually a solution to your problem. Some of the solutions are fairly basic and you wonder why you didn't think of that! Other times, the solution may be more complex. Virus removal, for example.

So, every time you have a computer problem, put the problem into Google and see if there is a solution. If you do not find an answer, then contact a professional computer technician to help with your computer troubleshooting.
