Microsoft Windows Vista Business With Improved Security To Protect Your Data
By Joel Wannamaker
Are you one of the many that chose the Windows Vista upgrade?
Originally, Microsoft said it was to improve on the lack of security
that plagued their previous operating systems. One of the most
common criticisms of Windows XP Professional and other XP versions,
as well as those before it, had been the security vulnerabilities
and the inclination towards viruses, buffer overflows and malware.
For the many who really needed this type of security, such as
for those using Microsoft Windows Vista Business, they were likely
happy to hear about the implementation of a company-wide "Trustworthy
Computing" feature that was to include security into every
area of software development at Microsoft.
Improved Security Features With Windows Vista
While Windows Vista reviews have hailed the many improved security
features, Microsoft Vista has also gotten criticism and bad press
as well. A few of the complaints are the system requirements,
the digital rights technologies that will not allow the copying
of some digital media, the incompatibility with much of the pre-Vista
software and hardware and the ridiculous amount of authorization
prompts for User Account Control. As a result, the satisfaction
rate with consumers is lower than for Windows XP.
Many small business owners have asked for an operating system
based on their particular needs. The company claims that Microsoft
Windows Vista Business is the first Windows operating system designed
specifically to meet the needs of small businesses.
Vista Business Protects Key Information Vital To Your Business
They claim it will empower your entire business network with
an improved and simple to use interface, with powerful new safety
features that will allow you to be in control and to protect key
information that is vital to your business.
If you keep up with Windows news, then you will know that not
too long ago there was an Apple Computer commercial that featured
a guy who had a PC with the Windows OS. He admitted that he was
going to uninstall his Windows Vista upgrade and go back to the
Windows XP system. Sure, it is a clever idea for an advertisement;
however, it may not be that far off the mark.
Windows Xp Has Proved To Be Twice As Fast As Vista
Many independent researchers have found that Vista is not nearly
as good as XP on the tests performed. These results were not what
everyone was expecting. Not only were all of the functions faster
with the XP system installed, but they were amazed to find that
XP proved to be at least twice as fast as the Vista service.
This is a huge difference in speed, and as such, casual users
will likely notice the difference as well. For business users
running Microsoft Windows Vista Business, such a drastic difference
in speed is unacceptable and frustrating. Because of this, many
people who had installed a Vista upgrade have made a review of
their options and decided to go back and reinstall XP on their
computers.
It’s no wonder why the people at Apple used this opportunity
to make fun of the latest "upgrade" being offered to
Windows users.

Give Me Just The Windows Vista Facts.....
When Microsoft unveiled its new operating system Windows Vista,
many computer techies groaned. It meant learning a whole new system
just so they could run their computers efficiently.
Some people have elected to stay with XP but they are missing
out on what Vistas can do for them. It is an operating system
unlike any that has come before. With a built in firewall, security
and many file sharing abilities it blows its predecessor out of
the water. If you have not tried Vistas yet, you are missing out
on a great opportunity.
Many times a person buys a computer and never bothers to update
the operating system because they do not want to take a chance
on something they do not know. Windows Vista has had its fair
share of naysayer’s because people simply did not want to lose
the system they had become most familiar with.
But that is not giving Vistas its chance to shine. This system
can do everything your old system can do plus much, much more.
If you have not tried out Vistas...what are you waiting for?
