For those who are not aware, there is an entire universe that
is hidden from the physical world. It is one in which everyone
interacts with each other, but they never have any physical contact.
This world is called a Metaverse and is the property of Linden
Labs. Second Life is a universe in which people own avatars who
live out their days in a virtual reality world.
Escape From A Mundane World
Some people may not understand the need that drives these users,
but for the users themselves, it is a life that is sometimes better
than their own mundane world that surrounds them on a daily basis.
The game was created to be a worldly, virtual experience in which
people could interact with each other in just the same way they
would in the physical world.

islands and a host of other options that the real world may not
offer to people.
What the Second Life game offers is the gateway for a chance

needed to own land, clothing, food and all the good things in
this virtual world.
A Premium membership runs around $72.00 a year, but for around
$266.00 you can buy a lifetime membership. You should also know
that there are taxes and fees associated with owning certain things.
An individual must pay for these things, first by buying Linden
dollars with real money.
Moderating Your Activities Online
2nd life is not without its fair share of blame. Some people
take Second Life a little bit too seriously. If they are seriously
strapped for cash in the real world, yet are continuously borrowing
money to waste on the game, then they have a real problem.
If they are ignoring their responsibilities and jobs just to
spend time engaged in a Second Life online, then they have a real
problem. As with all things in life, moderation is the key.
