One of the main reasons that more people choose UNIX hosting
packages, as opposed to Windows hosting, is simply that there
are many more hosting companies that provide the UNIX-based hosting.
That means there is more selection, more competition, and this
makes it even more favorable for the consumers. In addition to
that, UNIX web servers also have an overall better track record
in terms of uptime, therefore are considered to be more reliable
and stable.
